We need an individual to serve as a manual lab technician for the team, and work alongside engineers to perform validation on Mac hardware on 100's of units at a time. The lab technician will be responsible for unboxing, racking, cabling, scanning, inventory management, lab maintenance, SW/FW updating and assisting with experiments.
Key Benefits:
Doing the manual heavy lifted required by racking and maintaining 100's of Mac NPI hardware and test devices
Assist the team's engineers with their requests for regression or additional data
Keep track of 100's of devices under test and peripherals
Setup hardware and perform regular software updates to hardware under test
In Scope:
Must be on-site during working hours to support engineers as needed and to execute tests
Unboxing and racking on up to several dozen DUTs, peripherals, and other units of test on a daily basis
Manually preparing hardware to be tested via automated frameworks by first placing, cabling, configuring, and scanning test devices and equipment
Tearing down racks in a quick and efficient manner to allow for rack space to be used by other projects
Be available on-site in the labs for troubleshooting issues and assisting engineers when problems arise
Maintain lab test equipment and infrastructure as requested by the team
Prioritizing tasks and communicating to team members to identify correct order of tasks. Must alert team members with ample notice if unable to complete assigned tasks on-time
Categorize and keep track of test peripherals in the lab using internal tools
On-going documentation of test processes for future reference
Working on manual tasks required for maintaining or setting up new lab spaces
Success Criteria/Definition of Done:
Critical feedback is accepted and changes are made to improve if needed
All requests in the queue are performed in a timely manner within defined deadlines.
Clear and timely communication with the team
Requests for support from the team are handled in a timely basis, and correctly (based on any available instructions and attention to detail)
Technical Requirements:
Knowledge of Mac hardware
Strong troubleshooting skills
High level of comfort using Terminal and bash
Strong attention to detail
Strong time-management skills
Strong communication skills
Ability to multitask and deliver results under competing priorities
Expectations by Phase
Training - work with team members to learn the tools, schedules, expectations and steps for the different tasks. Expected to be comfortable with basic training skills in 2 weeks.
Execution & Delivery - Once trained on a particular task, follow expected schedules and deliver expected results consistently
Assumptions:
Expected to be able to pick up items up to 50 lbs.
Expected to be available during standard working hours, and, potentially frequently longer working days and/or weekends, if the role demands it.
Expected to be available on-site 5 days a week.
Able to quickly travel between different buildings to support labs in different locations.

Basic Qualifications:
Minimum 2+ years of experience doing Test Infrastructure Set up for Stability Lab
Minimum 2+ years of e xperience Troubleshoot software/Hardware issues for Mac, IPhone, IPad, GPUs/CPUs
High School Diploma / GED

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
